I almost forgot to turn off lights in the coops, though - MAN is it cold out there !!! every single star is out, though, very pretty - but so cold the nose hairs freeze and break off, if ya know what I mean.

I wonder if anyone else is like that, they have one type of alcohol that really hits them and others that don't even give them a buzz at all. In order to get a buzz off beer, I have to slam down at least three pretty quickly. And I don't care for beer that much to do it. I've had a case of beer in the pantry for 6 months, and I'm not even halfway through it yet.

Jose' has always gotten me into trouble, though. First time I ever had Jose' I was down in Pheonix for a month - and I partied most of that entire month

. I was 18, I was legal (not at home in MI, but in AZ I was) and I made the most of it.

Captain Morgan is what I usually drink, when I do drink much. I can get a decent buzz off it but no hangover and no passing out. Jose', however.....

well, he's my friend, but not necesarily a good friend, but we do have fun together.

Yeah, dad said it's supposed to be 0 tonight. I think he was exaggerating a bit. Who knows though, he could be right! I had to 'herd' babies into the building tonight. My red EE hen Emma has decided to sleep in the building, and she gave up on getting her kids to come in with her. They decided the top of dad's chickens' run is a good place to hang out. Why do they do that? Whenever we have had chickens that couldn't get into the rafters, that's where they go! I had to stand guard like a sentry to keep the little boogers from coming back out! They were not in the rafters, but at least they were in the building! I wonder how many more combs will be frostbitten tomorrow?

Shelley, as soon as I find out what day we are going next week (if bluedog can do next week, instead of when Cindy was gonna go) I'll let ya know and come and get ya when we do go.

I have really only once been flat out drunk. That was a long time ago, probably a good 8 years ago (guess it's not that long ago!). I was mixing big time though! I had Jose (2 shots), Jim (1/2 pint

), and Amaretto(probably close to 1/2 pint also), within about 3 hours. Needless to say, I was sick!! I was so drunk I didn't even get a hangover, I was still drunk when I woke up!

Then to top it all off, I went to a bar with some friends the next night, had amaretto sours (probably 2, maybe 3...don't remember!) and jello shots (at least 8, vodka and apple pucker...YUM!!), so it never did quite wear off! I was drunk the whole weekend! I think that broke me though. The last time I drank anything it was a smirnoff ice. I didn't even have half of it gone, and was feeling warm and fuzzy

How can you drink beer??

Corona, maybe, but only one with at least 2 limes!!

Henry wasn't a "pirate" he was a privateer.

I just bought one of these at walmart yesterday for less than $7!! I need to scam people like that I guess!

ETA: then they want to charge a $1 extra for one AAA battery?? Unbelievable! Stinkin thieves!!
