You know....I bet that may have been what happened to her when she was a baby bunny...My BFFs kids may have broke her hip or back because she hops sideways kinda...Plus the poor thing has had adhesions(sp?) in her eyes since she was a baby from the store...The store owner thinks her eyes may have been scratched while in the brooder. I have to treat her eyes every month.

millie rooster $10

Yes I took her to the vet for a check up...He wasn't too concerned. Said it was scar tissue. Other than that he said she was healthy. Showed me how to clip her nails and check her teeth for overgrowth. This was back last January.

yay Meri's here!!!!!

first time today I've had a chance to get online.

I am soooo glad today is over!!! Wow.

Got up and took Jon to work, ran to the butcher to get the pig then came home chased chickens for a half hour to catch them, got scratched all up, got them in the cage, took off to E-town, stopped and ate at DQ, dropped adam off at his bus, sold the chickens, then came home and checked for eggs, refreshed water, and now all I have to do is go back out later to turn off lights.

I didn't even turn the computer ON all day.

So.... I see everyone else has been busy. I put 10 eggs in the bator today - not sure if all of them are fertile, but we'll see. I just put everything I got today in the bator - the middle cell slowed up a bit today, cause it was so crazy here, and the birds were all freaking from me chasing the birds in the top coop (they made a big fuss and had everyone going).

Miss Piggy obviously thinks that three chicks is not nearly enough for all that sitting, because today I had to shoo her off the nest and take three fresh eggs out from under her.

she was gonna hatch those to add to her brood, I guess. The other eggs she had were bad, so I threw those out (she had a fit over that, too). So after I chased her out of the nest and took the fresh eggs, she got back down to take care of her babies.

So, now I just have to get the japs to Shelley, and get rid of the spitz's and Loretta. If it's nice next friday we'll be going to Sano again, so if ya want to meet us there, Shell, I'll bring the japs - I'll let ya know when it gets closer to friday if we're going or not. If it's nasty I don't see a reason to go.

All of us going to Sano ought to wear something to recognize each other

We could be like those women that wear the pink hats!!

Although, I don't think the guys would like wearing pink hats much!

Our 'chillin' wit my peeps' shirts wouldn't work, since it is too cold to keep your jacket open!! Maybe we could all get a really bright umbrella, that would pass as 'normal'

ETA:We will be there, we're ALWAYS there! That is our Friday night 'hotspot'....man I feel old

come closer to friday, then, I'll let ya know if we're going or not. I'm not standing outside in wind or rain, so if it is doing that, then forget it

I'll just drive them over to your house, sometime. I need to come over, anyway, soon, to swap that button quail. (and to maybe pick up some baby ducks??? huh??? maybe??? )

Adam's bus was actually on time!! can you believe it? I've never seen a greyhound bus show up on time.

So far I have 5 that are pipped, but none have hatched yet. I'm hoping to have more pips at least by tomorrow morning. There are 13 eggs in there, so we'll see. You don't want the khaki ducks??
fl.gif
Those aren't due to hatch till early Feb. but they are the ones I am surely selling. I don't have khakis here, and I don't need anymore different breeds!!

I may do khaki's if they are too adorable to resist

They had a pair of cayugas there, but I wanted little ones, no one had any ducklings.

I can't wait to get those geese, too. Is metzers not even taking orders until february?? strange, I figured everyone was at least taking orders.

Or you could pick a time and place and meet up there, like at the end of the barns or by a particular hot dog stand or by a certain entrance. ANd tell each other what type and color of coat and hat you will be wearing. And then hope like heck no one else is wearing the same outfit!

Besides don't you know already what each other looks like by now?
