and yes, I never thought I'd want ducks so bad, but those tiny ducks Cindy has are so darn cute!! I never knew bantam ducks existed.

Oh btw --- yer gonna love this.....

Hubby says to me today "ya know, you need a bigger incubator, why don't I build you a cabinet type one out of wood and such, I'll put it on legs so it's portable, and have a glass window in the front, maybe two shelves....."

Oh, and poor Miss Piggy.... she has been going from nestbox to nestbox today every time someone lays an egg (before I get to it) and sitting on the eggs she finds. She wants babies so bad!!

maybe I ought to let her hatch out some more - but she really needs a break, poor girl.

I'm a homewrecker... she has empty nest syndrome....

maybe if it warms up really soon she'll take her other babies back... I only kept them inside cause of the "9 degrees" forecast.

They would probably be all right with her,, as long as she is out of the 'elements'. Just stick her in one of the coops that doesn't have a run, and put her in a cage. That way she can't get too far away from them.

Naw it just means that there's nothing good on TV, the kids are busy elsewhere, your DH's are leaving you alone, and it's cheaper to send each other comments over the net than over the phone.

Besides, it's better to be inside where it's warm than out in the cold.

no room in the trays for much of anything, in fact had to split the trays to fit the monster jumbos
