I cleaned out the brooder yesterday for my girls, they fussed a bit, as I put them into a dog carrier I have handy. But the furkids were all trying to get a serious look at them while I was cleaning. Sheesh, determined little buggers, (the dogs)!

Shelley wish I could help with the car situation, sounds like you need either a new alternator or generator. Or it could be something simple like the battery cables need to be replaced. I had a problem yesterday with my car and had to call AAA. The guy that came told me that I will need to get my positive cable replaced.

Will do that this week when I take it to replace the battery and a headlight. However, if I win the lottery, it will go into the shop for a complete overhaul and makeover. I want to restore it. And I will also get a new vehicle to boot.

I will keep my eye out for you though, and see if I can find something for you to use in the meantime.

Found another hatchery for ducks, thanks to someone else posting a question in another forum here.

A bit pricey on some of their stuff, but from what I read so far, they have an excellent reputation, and they also have bantam ducks!

I've changed the cable, and the battery, the only thing I haven't done is check the alternator, but the battery can be fully charged and sitting in the driveway one day, and completely dead the next, without the car even being started!! So it has a short somewhere. A friend of mine is going to check it for me. The way he sounded, it was no biggie. But the silly car doesn't have heat anyway, that was one thing that was supposedly fixed when I had the engine rebuilt. The guy evidently tried to fix it, since he messed up all the vents in the dash, but it still doesn't have heat, and now the vents hardly work. So it needs some major checking again.

Sorry if it seems I've been ignoring people lately. I have had to do some major homework and have been racking my brain all weekend trying to get it done. As of today it is 4 days late, and I think I will finish it tonight

Hope so, cause they won't take it if it is more than 4 days late!! I really need to pay as much attention to school as I do to chickens

Just heard on the news school is closed again in Breckenridge and Meade counties because of the weather. What a bunch of woozes!
