Yes, exactly.

That thread really made me wonder what the folks on BYC are really like, sometimes. Such snarky posts in that thread. The poor girl is new to ebay - probably her first ever auction description, and she didn't know how to uncheck the auto check boxes (or know to look for auto checked boxes).

IMO charging 50+ bucks for 6 maran eggs is more obscene than charging 99 cents for some mixed (with the possiblity of pure) eggs.

Up for sale Cuckoo Marans pullets and roos clean legged type. I have 30 or so pullets and 20 roos to sale. These ladies and guys have been well taken care of, free ranging since Jan. fed a mix of pellets, scratch grains, live mealworms and fresh sprouts. They should be about a month or so from laying. These are hatchery birds hatched Oct. 23 08 They should lay nice med. dark brown egg. No guarantees on that. Dont expect the black eggs that you find on e-bay for $225 for 6 + shipping. Pullets $20 each, Roo's $10. This is the "Family Price"
Cash and Carry. Thought i would put this here before i went to craigslist tonight. Hollar if your a wantin. Im 5 mile's off I-64 in Mount Sterling. No long trip down some one lane gravel road in the middle of nowhere , where you cant get there from here

I PM'd an admin., and the Op deleted her /his post, so the admin deleted the whole thread.

nope, and the drake didn't go looking for her this morning, either - something probably got her yesterday. Too bad the dogs can't be trusted out there to keep an eye on the ducks - it probably wouldn't have happened.

I've been wanting some of your A&M eggs but haven't had the free space in the bators to hatch them. If I ever get the space, I may ask ya how much for a few dozen.

maybe once the duck eggs are all done hatching I can use a whole bator for some.

I just set my last batch in yesterday or the day before, so it'll be a month, at least.

I've been wanting one, I got meat chickens coming. Hubby is always "well, we''ll get one when we need it" - and I'm more of a "I love kitchen gadgets buy it buy it buy it" type

We're also looking at Smokers - not sure which one we want to buy. I'm thinking propane, since electricity is iffy sometimes around here.

Yeah, for chicken, but also for pork - we got a half a pig this last month, but the processor doesn't do hams or bacon. He cuts it up for ya like that, but he doesn't smoke or brine them.

We are planning on raising some pigs for meat - and I want to have some bacon

bacon makes everything ok with the world
