My bantam Brahmas were chipmunky with feathered feet.
In other news, I really need to have a cull/processing party to get rid of a bunch of roos. I think eleven Barred rock roos out of 13 eggs. Does anyone know if that sexing of eggs thing is true? If it is I got gyped.
You know, I have wondered that myself. It's true that I haven't had very good hatches this winter, but I have had a few that had 1 chick hatch out of each batch. So now, I'm the proud owner of 1 golden lakenvelder roo, 1 black ameraucana that I'm pretty sure is a roo, 1 silver phoenix that looks like a roo, and 1 buttercup roo. My millie hatch was a bit better, I got 3 roos and 3 pullets from that. But it has gotten me wondering if the people are just sending their 'roo' eggs to get rid of them
Either that, or 'roo' eggs are just tougher!
