Hello all , my name is Julie , I’m a relatively new chicken/ duck mom . I’m a wife , mother and grandmother . I’m near central city Ky and have 29 pullets and one cockerel and two ducks and two drakes a dog and two cats and two teenagers lol

Hey, I'm RoyD from Ekron, Ky. area near Brandenburg, about 10 miles from Ft.Knox, where I retired from, we have about 2 1/4 acres and right now we are staying with the BarredRock breed, maybe some different ones later.

I'm lance from the lake cumberland region. Right now I have a mixed flock just for fun but planning to do some breeding this spring.

I've been looking for chocolate egg layers in my area and so far no luck. If anyone has some send me a pm.

Hello, I am in Foster (northeastern Ky). I have a crazy mix of 74 chickens, 2 ducks, 2 goats, 19 cats, 3 dogs, 11 birds, 3 gerbils, and a Flemish Giant. And yes, I know I am nuts! Lol. Anyway, I figured I'd say hey to the other Kentuckians on here, so

Yes all of the chickens are free ranged, except for 7 silkies. They have their own coop and run. Although I may be looking for a new home for them soon.
