Currently I am down to three hens.

We have a fox running rampant plus people releasing racoons and opossums they have caught in town out here in the middle of nowhere. Making it my problem to deal with them.

I'm actually tad bit over state line but close enough to hop over if I tried lol.
I don't count mine...just know I had to put brakes on before DH realized how many I got!
I have Satins, Silkies, D'uccles and Cochins...all bantams.

Haha yes my DH is over my new obsession already! I have a Columbian Wyandotte, Blue Laced Gold Wyandotte, Barnevelder, Buckeye, Plymouth Rock, Speckled Sussex, Sapphire Olive Egger, Buff Orpington, Sapphire Gem, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Buff Brahmas, Prairie Bluebell Egger, and two Black Australorps. I got 8 the beginning of June and then the other 6 a couple weeks ago!

Oh yes, I figured that way it would be easier to tell who is who haha. Also easier for my two kids to know who everyone is too.

Yeah my 3 yr old grandson has learned ALL of em..even though they are pretty similar...he even remembers ones rehomed and says he misses em lol!

Aww! I love how kids are like that. Mine are 3 and 6 so they remember everything.
