Well, Sano was HOT!! I wish it had stayed overcast
Happily Joe showed up and I gave him the duck and left to come home where it is slightly cooler.
Pokey (the calf with milk scours) is all better - he was VERY happy to see his bottle tonight. He ate a full bottle this morning, but not very quickly, but tonight he was extremely hungry. All the calves have names now, Pokey is the one I was thinking of naming Tbone
Pokey fits him better. I'll save Tbone for another calf. I ought to be getting another one any day now.
Michelle still has not had that baby, but she is getting really Bitshee - she kicked poor Maggie in the head tonight at dinner, just because Maggie walked behind her.
Oh, and I'm getting a bunch of chickens tomorrow.
like I need more chickens, but these are all going to the auction or to Liberty - I can't pass on these. (there maybe Silkies involved if anyone is interested
I know he had a blue silkie roo that Debbie is keeping, cause hers died and his roo is her roo's son). I have no idea how many or what they are, I'll be seeing them for the first time when I go pick them up.
I got all of THREE eggs today! THREE!!!!! dang chickens. I got two of those from the pullet coop! and one from Mr. Speckles's coop. They don't look like they are moulting, so I have no idea what their problem is. I'm gonna try mixing in some Flock Raiser and some Kickin' Chicken with their 16% feed and see if that kicks them into gear.
well, I'll be here tomorrow after the gun show -
