We put a sign out last fall and have more "customers" than eggs! We sell the smaller/pullet eggs for 1.50 and the others for 2.00. I have seen other signs around so don't think you will have a problem. I am also in Hart Co. I know the salvage store on 88 got in trouble for selling eggs in the store, but you can go up to their house and buy them. When that happened I tried to find the "rules" and all I could find was you can't sell graded (A, AA) or sized eggs (sm, med, lg...), they should be sold in new egg cartons or customer needs to bring you thier carton, they need to be refridgerated, and I know there was more, but can't remember now I think it had to do with how many chickens you had or how many eggs you sold per week. I know we were ok and we have about 80 birds (need to send some roos to freezer camp)and get about 175 eggs a week. Hope this helps! Once people know you have eggs you will have to make sure you keep some for yourself! I almost always have people waiting for eggs!
