Thanks Shelly. Gunieas sound good then. Maybe if I make some really "natural" looking nestboxes I can keep them laying in the shed. I am thinking along the lines of cane and sticks stacked like teepeees lol.

Hello all,
I need help. Does anyone know of anyone who processes chickens and turkeys in KY. I am just not ready to do it myself. But I like the idea of raising home grown meat instead of store bought. I am willing to drive. I have a rooster that is 14 weeks and needs to go soon. Thanks

While I would love to see them go to a "pet home" I understand that is less likely with roo's

I have prepped myself with the roosters that they will most likely go for a meal.

If you take the main highway to greensburg, There is a mennonite store just before you get to Greensburg. I cant remember the name but the very large sign would be on the left. Sorry I cant be more specific for you.
