and you said you didn't have room to set any eggs.. Think of the bantams they could set on

They have to sit their own eggs, they can cover those better

My 'big' incubator is almost done, just need to finish putting the wire on the bottoms of the trays, drill some holes for the wires, and turn it on. Then play with it for a while to get it running right. 5 trays, 45+ capacity each tray, I think I'll be good then

Hope your not bringing many chicks to Sano Friday night. I've got 40 dried off and in a brooder and expecting 100+ total when it's all done to sell this weekend.

Only a few, mostly bantam OE and cochins. I've got some older ones that the hens have quit but the rest are new babies. I've got 1 guinea and 1 turkey and 2 goslings. Not sure if I'm bringing the turkey and guinea but the goslings are going for sure. I have more than enough goslings to do me for next year!

I have one duck under the porch, and I crawled under there (thak goodness it is a high porch lol). She had 21 eggs under her. I can just picture her leading 21 little ducks thru the yard lol. So I left her 8 and put the rest in the bator, not sure when they should hatch but it shouldn't be long. I also got a banty out hiding a nest and I think another duck somewhere. I offered the kids $5.00 for each hidden nest they find.

I thought so to, but they wasn't interested hence why I was under the porch lol
