How many quail do you keep?

Not very many.

Usually only four cages worth.

Each cage usually contains only one male with 4-5 females.


I like to hatch so I butcher often.

Yes, it all depends on size...

Why do you hate integrating? Not sure about quail, but chickens seem to do well with integrating...

I don't like it because I refuse to deal with meanies. It doesn't always go smoothly and I don't like seeing injured birds.

the uncollected hg’s are doing well eggs pretty full and dark. new ones are starting to show a minute amount of development but nothing overwhelming yet!

Can someone candle all of the eggs for me?
I need to move the chicken eggs that are in the incubator out of the turner tomorrow so I will candle all of the eggs then.

I'm pretty sure my blue ballers are not fertile.
I think I might actually have all girls in that cage to tell you the truth.
