On my last farm the crows were awful for trying to steal chicks. They would also steal baby bunnies from the nests while mom was grazing. Wouldn't always eat them though...just kill them and leave them all over the yard or driveway near the barn.
Then there were ones bold enough to steal chicken food too.

I caught a finch the other day. Beautiful little bird. It flew into my garage. I opened the door and it went right past to face plant the wall. I figured "I'll catch it and walk it outside to release it". Then I couldn't catch it so I became more determined and closed the door till I caught him. I WIN! Then walked it outside and released it.
