Did he hatch!?

He did! We've got an all black polish with a little white tuft on the top of his head. Super cute. Two more have pipped so maybe tomorrow we'll have a couple peepers hopping about.

Oh my goodness, my kids are in chicken heaven.
We have six fluffy chicks this morning! Everyone seems healthy and happy!

Here is Cinderella, our fuzzy legged cochin mix.


And Chicken Little. He came from a bantam pen so who knows what he'll be mixed with.


Here is Blacko the Polish. The kids can't stop talking about his puffy head.


This is Nova (my favorite) little silkie baby.


Here is Anna. She/he came out of either a green or a pink egg.


And then there's Elsa. She came out of either a green or a pink egg.


Can we tell what colors they will be at this young of an age, or do we need to wait until they start getting feathers?

My husband is currently in the process of building a coop for the backyard. Right now we've got a frame put up.
