She said, "I do have to thank you. Our home just burned down last night." That catches me off guard! I wish her well. And we are on our way. I am just flabergasted at the whole thing because you never, ever do know what someone else is going through. I am thankful that I was able to help her, albeit in a very small way.

Doesn't that just blow you away that God lays something on your heart to do, you do it and then you find out just why you were compelled to do it. Not often we get to see the reason why....bless you for following your heart, ChikeeMomma!​

Absolutely Beekissed! That's why I did it. Can't question it. It was laid upon my heart by the Almighty. That's why I have a hard time being thanked, for it wasn't me. I don't want any glory for it. I never used to share because I thought that it wasn't being humble by doing so, but now I think that it can inspire other people to do good when they feel that inkling. It's as simple as holding a door open for someone with a smile.

it's a place where you can post a job, and the wage you're paying, and it's open to active and recently mustered out military. we've never had to wait more than an hour before we've got a crew lined up. these guys know how to work, how to take direction, are always polite, and I don't worry that they're casing my place to see what they can come back for later. they're happy to have a little extra income, lots of them have young families and need the money, and they're grateful to have a chance to make that happen.

on top of that, some of these young men still need a dad, or never had one, and my hubby's a good one. we've collected quite an assortment of extra sons this way.

Wow, that's a great thing you do. It is nice for them to have someone to look up to as a father. Kudos.

It was year ago but I still think this


I had to take my husbands daughter to church one night but I had to first go to the store I had a 74 Gremlin and go to the store was no biggy but on the way back I had a flat yes I know how to change it so a few stopped to help, Now I am from a part of the county where you don't let anyone help this is how you get abducted and killed So his daughter and I tried to get the lugs off we did we did it all pulled and use as much strength as we had we tried to get it off with our body weight but nothing was gonna get the lugs off. I didn't have a cell phone at that time and I don't think cell phone were so easy to come by at that time. This blue cars stopped and the guy ask if her could help I finally gave in the tire was off and then next one was on which seemed in a blink of an eye of course my spare was somewhat flat but had a little air in it he said he would follow me well I still had the mentality of we still could get killed so I said no I didn't know where the place was and I would follow him DANG IT I wish I would of seen the plate number and to this day I don't recall him having one anyhow we got to the small store he asked if I knew how to use fix a flat and yes I did I turned to the fix a flat and turned back to the guy a POOF he was go I didn't get to thank him or offer money and I went out to see if I could see his car but nothing there was no way in a few second he could of drove off in any direction that I would not be able to see his car but nothing. On the way back I told his daughter we are going home I don't want to chance not being able to pick her up no this is the really strange part all the light turned green if they were red they turned green when I was to them we had to go through about 5 of them.

I never got a name but his daughter said it was a angel, I never believed in this stuff and ok so it was not life or death well I here of many that are fixing tires on the side of the road and get hit so could it be he was there so we didn't I was on a road with nearly no light on a slight bend and pulled over as far as I could be. I wish I could of thank him or offered money but he was gone in a blink of an eye. Could this of been a angel as his daughter said to help fix a tire I mean a honest to goodness Angel you know GOD SENT. I still remember what he looks like but never saw him around here if I got his tag number we have a cop in the family I could of found where he lived but it was POOF GONE .

I got back to my husband and we told him of this but he didn't think so.

I know this is to tell of things that happened but let me thought this in to if anyone else has this doing?

I was living in my car for 8 months in the winter and this girl she was 16 (this is not it) was being told she was to get beat up so I told her she could come live with me in the car she would have heat and I a..... don't think me a awful person for this I would hook to feed me and her before her this was what I did I know it was dumb, anyhow I bought things for the coming baby and we were not always together but were by night. We went to the welfare office I wanted to see if they could help her some how. As I was there this lady was crying we asked what was wrong she said her husband left her for another woman and she had 3 kids and a house and she didn't have any food in the house and the kids were crying they were hungry the social worker told her when they ask to tell them the truth there is none I was beyond angry and I told her to talk to a supervisor and tell the supervisor what the worker said. I had $10. left from the other day and I was to make more so I gave her the $10 if I had more I would of gladly gave her whatever I had. I made around $100 a day you would think doing this I would be in a motel room ever night but you know this didn't come to mine till I was not doing this any more and why I didn't I HAVE NO CLUE I should of. I told the lady I wish I could of gave her more and told of there are churches that can give her food but I don't know which one she would have to go to a church to see who does.

When I left I know $10. don't go long way but she could get something for the kids if only milk and cereal

I have did many a good deed I never asked for cash and just told them to do good for someone else this is all I would ask of them.

I don't believe in doing something for someone in order to get cash or anything I do thing because I WANT TO no other reason.

Yes, like the song says, there are angels all around.

I just went to the Oxfam shop and bought one of those chickens for the poor Asian family. I think I'll give the card to my geography teacher. She was the only person who gave me anything on my birthday this year.

Well, there are always the people who, when they see me making a fool of myself, like to pull me aside and tell me in private what's going on, instead of making a scene and making me look like even more of an idiot.
