I love rescues as well! Most all of mine have been rescues even the rabbits! I actually got McFluffington on the way to a funeral! I had stopped at my grandparents house on the way; and I saw a litter of kittens that someone dumped at the mailbox! It was November and really cold out. I saw her and her siblings and I instantly fell in love! I kept her and her brother Tigger, but he ended up passing away. I adore her so much and am so glad I found her. My grandparents actually ended up keeping two of the kittens as-well. She is now five years old and she is my best friend.

Thanks! Floki is a little love. Kenzie's nickname is little bit because she is tiny compared to her brother. She is all diva though lol

I personally believe they find us! I've rescued horses, dogs, cats, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds. I have a problem. That is so awesome you saved them. We always seem to be where we need to be when they need help.

Thank you! All mine are indoor as well... Ragdoll fur is like bunny fur.. and he doesn’t shed much! They are amazing cats! We adore him! But we love em all of course! Here’s the crew a few months ago.. I’ll try and get a pic of Prissy.. I shaved her as she sheds a lot! Sorry to those who have seen these pics before! that’s awesome!! I am similar. All my chickens come running when they see me lol the cat usually comes running over if she’s nearby. Even the budgies and the fish greet me when I come over the fish literally swims over lol

Luna doesn’t usually follow me to the bathroom but occasionally she does. The other day I left the door open and she came in and sat down and wanted to be petted

My Gemmy (horse) is super jealous of the chickens & ducks. He stands there staring at the coop like why are you always going in there? I'm right HERE!

Three of my 5 cats are always in the bathroom or tripping me trying to beat me to the bathroom. Floki talks to me the entire time I'm in the shower. The longer I am in there the louder he gets.

I don't like to think about them getting older too much. They are both extremely active still so I think we are good for a few more years.

OMG! Lol yesterday Luna was in a bad mood and I made the mistake of trying to brush her... her yelling quickly turned to full on hissing and arched back and trying to wriggle free and/or claw me while doing it didn’t help I kept going cause she has sooooooo much loose hair right now I wanted to get out lol I finally gave up and decided not to stress her out more or get bit and clawed to death

I didn’t start her when she was young but she probably would have been fine if I had cause she used to not hate it so much then decided she did

Sounds like brushing Floki! He is such a pain about it. I've had to throw a towel over him once to calm him down because he started attacking me!

And yeah, sorry, probably shouldn’t have said that. I’m sure you’ll have them for a while still if they’re still active!!

Gator had an autoimmune disease and went downhill/progressively got worse for like a year and a half before we put him down.

Luna sheds like crazy too!!! I swear she sheds worse than the dog when we had him Luna used to go outside occasionally but we don’t really let her anymore and I’m glad because she used to get pine sap and burrs in that coat and get all matted.

In spring between the cats, dogs & horses I'm continually covered in hair. It gets everywhere! I HATE shedding season!

Oh wow that’s crazy!! LOL Luna is usually pretty good and will just yell a lot and I can stop to pet her in between and get her to calm down some but she just gets more and more mad and if I don’t stop, she eventually turns into that hissing, arching, screaming hell beast
