Kitty and Dog Thread, Show Me What You Got, other critters welcome too

I'm impressed. For starters, you are the first person to know anything about their lineage. You should get a badge or something for that lol. :D

For skin care is just sun block in the summer anytime outside, and just lotion as needed in the winter. Then we bath then every 10-14 days depending hows much fun they've had.

Because of the lack of hair (armor) I try to be cautious with what they chase. They do still have a healthy pretty drive, but control it very well (they are both very trained too). They are both allowed around the ducks and chickens here, and get a face to face intro to any new birds/chicks.

If you like to get snugly with your dog, you'd love these guys. It's like sleeping with a baby, and they love the blankets. :D
I have been a big dog lover for decades. I enjoy learning about breeds and their origins. It helps to understand what a potential pup or dog will be like. I have loved rat terriers for years as well. I was intrigued to learn how a single hairless rat terrier formed a whole new breed. Dogs are amazing creatures.

We have a few dogs that like sleeping under the covers. :) Our dogs help to keep our house heated I swear.

My boys :D

Gorgeous German shepherd. I'm glad to see he is friends with kitty. :)

I am extremely fortunate with him, he is a sweet boy who is great with all the animals except for the cows. For some reason when they come to greet him he barks (ignores them otherwise). It could be because they are so big and spooked him as a pup?

Well he is a shepherd, so maybe he wants to remind the cows of it. :). It's probably a bit scary when the cows are facing him.

Haha yes - you are proberly right on both accounts. The funniest is when he tries to herd frogs - I will try to get a video of it next time - he runs around madly trying to get them to go in the direction he wants nudging them when they do not move or go the wrong way - thankfully he has given up on hedgehogs :D

I have a wonderful German shepherd when I was a teenager. She was my best friend, and got me through a lot. They get very attached to their people, mine did at least. I sure do miss her. Mine was darker like yours. I like them darker. :)

My heart goes out to you. I do think the bond with these dogs goes both ways - they with us and us with them. It took me 7 years after my female died to even consider another. Now Milo has become my life. I can empathize with your loss with every fiber in my body :hit
