I am a new kitten owner. we rescued 2 kittens, it’s been about a month now. They’ve transitioned well into their charmed life!

My Stinky kitty is missing since Sunday. Starting to get worried. She did leave last year for 3 days, so hopefully she's just out wandering around. We will get some more kitties this year. Stinky has done a great job with rodent and bird control here. Hopefully she comes home. She's a smart funny kitty.

They seem to like it so far! They were a bit scared at first and mostly stuck to the ladder but eventually I picked them up and put them up higher. Probably shouldn’t have but it worked lol also was playing budgie sounds for them to make them feel safe

They’re still not moving much yet but at least are off the ladder and chilling at the top.

OH!! And I took that big huge block toy out. Pride seemed suuuuuuuuuppppppeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr scared of it and I don’t blame her!!! I realized it looked like a giant monster about to eat her!!! she was much less scared and climbed right up to Dizzy once I took it out lol whoops.

Sorry about your kitty @oldhenlikesdogs ...
I have a budgie problem I’m hoping you can help me with... as you know.. I have six budgies.. well four are female and two are males... Pineapple and Kiwi have hooked up as a pair.. and it looked like Bananabelle and Green Bean were hooking up but looks like that didn’t work out.. so, Bananabelle started going after Pineapple and what looked like wanting his affections.. well he wanted nothing to do with her.. so she was relentless for days!! All he could do was run away from her.. he couldn’t even eat.. he had no peace.. and you could see how stressed he was.. he even had what looked like dried up blood on one of his wings.. maybe from trying to get away.. and she would keep him from Kiwi! So I decided to remove her from the cage.. the SECOND she was out he and Kiwi were back together “kissing”.. and he was relaxed! Well, I feel so bad for Bananabelle cuz now she is alone in a cage by herself... what I want to know is.. do you think I should get her a male and put in the small cage with her in hopes that they bond and then put them back with the others? And should I go ahead and get another male to put in the big cage.. that way they will be four and four..? My only concern is.. will Bananabelle go right back after Pineapple if I put her back... It is very difficult to catch them from the big cage! I had to use a net!

I would get her a mate and hopefully bond them in a separate cage too. Hopefully when they get added back they stay bonded. I would assume they would. Sounds like Bananabelle is determined to have herself a mate.

If you than add another male to the big group it should help too, as there will be more mates to choose from.

‪Pride & Disaster (aka Dizzy) MIGHT possibly, maybe, probably be THE most spoiled parakeets on the planet. finally got their new cage all set up and decorated lol hope they appreciate it!! Might have to get them some new friends to go with their new cage ‬

Hi KDOGG... where did you get that cage and how much was it.. if you don’t mind saying... I am going to get two more males this week and see how things go.. I was thinking if there is too much fighting and whatnot then I would build another or maybe just buy a cage like yours and split them up four and four... hopefully they will all just pair up..
