I look at it this way, if I survived 3 teenage boys who all played football, I can survive a little duck mess in my life. I'm just trading one mess for another. And these ducks don't smell half as bad as those boys did after practice!

I will still get my foal, just after the turkey's.

That's what I like to do as well. I have a 4 day old magpie that has already gotten the nickname 'Tude because this little one has got attitude to spare!

Doesn't matter what I get, I will just order pullets for each breed of roo I have and make new coops for them.

It’s getting pretty crazy here. We just almost lost power a bit ago. Lights flickered a couple times. Very very windy. All my birds are hiding inside atm. Budgies and cat are sleeping. Not sure what the fish is doing. I unplugged one of my tanks and plugged it into the surge protector so the heater doesn’t blow or something wacky and kill Draco. The goldfish just have a filter so should be fine. I wish I had another surge protector for the heat mat thermostat for the plants though but I’ll just have to

Diva! Love it! My mallard hen acts like a drama queen so hubby started calling her DQ for short. She overreacts and yells at everyone over the slightest thing.

I was hoping I'd have 3 drakes so I could name them Huey, Dewey & Louie. If my pekings are a pair I will name them Donald & Daisy. I need a black drake to name Daffy, but it appears I will have to name one of my Cayugas or Magpies Daffy if they turn out to be a drake.
If one of the leghorns is a roo hubby has already informed me his name will be Foghorn, no discussions about it.

My sainthood was when my eldest talked me into driving "A friend home" after practice and 8 stinky football players were "A friend" We totally broke the law and they all piled into my F150 supercab truck. With two dogs. I drove with my head out the window gasping for air.

Yes, I currently have 5 horses. 2 dogs & 5 cats.

Absolutely! She is a great cat! Doesn’t require extreme brushing either. She just turned 5 years old.

I have a Mainecoon cross who requires brushing. It is a constant battle usually ends in me bleeding. He hates it!
