I think Isabel killed Davis' mouse friend last night. She can blame it on the moon. The mouse was in the middle of ther living room floor. As a reward I let her sun herself on ther dining room table. Not bad for an arthritic 17 year old cat.

Good Morning Bob!

Day two of stable sunny weather! And no rain forecast for the next day... looks like Waterproofing is going to happen early this afternoon! Just when I thought I was getting a day “off” as much as that ever happens. Tuesday hot tub time is looking more appealing every day.

Tomorrow is a day off... a real one. I’m leaving on the morning ferry, and DH is going to have to do all the chicken and animal chores on his own... ok I am prepping the hay into half bales, moving everyone again this evening, and refilling all the feeders but three. Sammy and Barney just have an old shallow plastic serving bowl, and we ration Roostie and the CX, though I suppose I can probably top them off once I shut them in tonight, but I don’t like leaving feed out in runs at ground level... it creates too much interest from the raccoons. Going to window shop some stores, hit the pool and hot tub, and probably make it home on the afternoon ferry, but might end up on the late boat...
