Well, Im nervous because all my favorite birds molted their tails off about a month or so ago. So now I have had to pick birds that I dont handle much, but that had feathers. Seramas do table top judging, so your bird has to be tame, calm and learn to pose in a hectic place. Im taking a lot of pullets and cockerels now, and they have only been handled a week! Seramas tame pretty easily, but getting them to pose is another problem, lol.
Who was it that had said they could get some parlor roller pigeons? I believe it was at Shephardsville auction? My son had 2, both males. My dad moved them along with his pigeons into a new building, that wasn't near as secure as he thought it was (and he wonders why I don't want him helping with my coop). Anyway, of course both of my son's pigeons are gone from the stupid rats, being as parlor rollers can't fly. The poor things didn't have a chance
My son is almost 5, and loved these pigeons to death. I just today noticed they were gone, and haven't told him yet. I would really like to get him a couple more, which would be kept in my safe, secure coop once it's finished, and in a large rabbit cage until then.
They could be either 2 females or a male/female pair, I'd rather not have 2 males as they did fight some.
Whoever it was that had offered to get them for me before, could you please contact me? Or if anyone else knows where I can get some? Thanks
