I bought them from the tractor supply website. They came from the hatchery that they go through. Can't remember the name of it. Was supposed to be 10 barred rock chicks. I'm not mad though haha they are good looking girls and super sweet too.

It almost looks like she has ghost lacing.

This is her sister's chest feathers up close. They have alot of fading where Kiara's are solid markings.

I'm absolutely not a genetics expert- but could she be barred and laced at the same time? Clearly not a barred rock, but wow is that cool! @Rhodebar Lover who can we call in that knows genetics? i'm still learning the experts on this site!

She looks like a mix of SP rock and barred rock. Sometimes different varieties of the same breed get mixed at hatcheries.

@Gray Farms if you have a moment would you please look at this thread and give insights into potential breed and coloring? It looks like the pullet is both barred and laced- which is a first for me, but may be more common than I thought! Pretty bird regardless, but as you'll read a head-scratcher!
