I have an Indian runner and she is struggling to walk properly after sitting on a clutch of eggs ... I have separated her from the drakes ... slight improvement but still very lame .. any suggestions would be nice

Keep her separated - give her poultry vitamins with electrolytes and probiotics.

It would be best to see a vet.

Let her swim in a tub of lukewarm water so that you can observe her and so that it takes the weight off her legs. Can she move them well without the weight on them?

Take a close look - any swelling or injuries?

If she is the only female and there are more than one drake you need to keep her separate from them and longer term consider how to manage the flock. Recommended drake to duck ratios range from 1 to 3, to 1 to 6 or more depending on the drake.

Her life is at risk if you don't protect her.

Are you going to incubate the eggs?

None of the eggs hatched she was on ...I have her locked up with some duckling .. some googling suggested she could have worms so I have given her vermin !!

I found her dead this morning so she has gone to a better place !!!
