I used to live in the Willamette Valley and loved traveling around to enjoy the beautiful lushness no matter which direction I went! Very similar here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Well, it was the result of a severe injury so after she healed she had to re-learn how to do everything without a beak. There was much frustration at first, and a whole lot of mushy foods, but now she can nub anything as well as a bird with a beak. And face diving into scratch grains works better than one might think!

To be honest I did not think my girl was going to make it. But she's very plucky and determined.
