While not exactly square, this does not meet the normal aspect ratios of 3:2, 4:3 or 16:9 for landscape mode.

Do you crop it at some point to take out the sides? That could explain why it is square. I do that sometimes.

I must have. I adjust them quite often. I cant remember how to set my photos to keep the original. Im trying to find some others but i only have a few that aren't grainy.

That is because you are looking at standard frame sizes.
