I had all 5 of the bantam b/b/s Faverolles hatch yesterday, and my broody mama hatched 4 buff Fav project babies!!

Now I have 2 more broodies, and my next bator hatch isn't due until the 28th.

Oh yeah....gotta go fill out the form again...twice....

4 chicks have hatched so far under broody number... uhm... under one of the broodies. Only 1 so far is a naked neck but it is by FAR the cutest chick ever. Not sure if one is going to make it, its head looked like it had gotten pecked pretty bad and was bloody, but dried. I left it under Mom for now but will keep watch.

Day 20 I have 4 pips. Only 2 are peeping. I think I may have humidity too high. Gonna lift the window a bit I think. Lucky to get pips. I unplugged the hatcher for the first time since April 2010 and forgot to let it adjust, so I turned it up. Ended up at 108 degrees and don't know for how long, but I caught it and it's been stable ever since, so hope I didn't kill any off. Started with 17 and 15 made it to lockdown.
