I had the same problem with silkies. I wasn't worried about mixed colors just wanted nice type. Kathyinmo was nice eenough to hatch some of her eggs and ship the chicks to me. Let me tell you...that is the way to go, shipped chicks! They are awesome too.

I think you're right.

I had 2 orders of splash Silkies in there. Got zero to even take.

A problem I'm having with my BCM eggs is my chicks are huge and they take up the whole shell. I'm not sure what to even do to fix that problem.

I'm just tired of getting eggs that look like lava lamps. Aircells all over the place and they've all been packaged just fine, so I know where they problem lies. The PO!

I don't usually candle when I put the eggs in. But I did this last time. Air cells all over the place. I decided from now on, I don't want to know.

BTW: On another note, the chicks that I hatched from you are very healthy and great fliers! I am having trouble keeping them in the brooder.

I had some chicks hatch out tuesday from my buff barred project, and then in 1.5 weeks I will
begin hatching for my crele easter egger project!

I am not sure what happened, but there is an incubator full of eggs again....

But not a full incubator. Just 12 here 15 there...etc. I am paying for 3 doz eggs tomorrow. Oh and I have 2 Doz coming....and I have some others that are due to be mailed sometime next month.

I am SO nervous. I'm hatching for a fellow BYCer and nothing is happening in there. Day 21 and nothing! I had 2 eggs from my own birds I set for her hatch yesterday, now nothing. They looked good at lockdown. no real fluctuations in temp or humidity in the DIckey's. I can't imagine why none of the others are hatching yet. This person did drive them down in her incubator already having been set for a few days. It was unlugged but it was a hot day. Still it was over an hours drive. Could that delay them? UGH!!! I will feel just awful if these eggs dont hatch. They were shipped eggs that she bought too.
