Large Marge is Sick! Pale Wattles and Comb, No Appetite

Ohh, equine, yikes. I wouldn't use it. Too hard to measure. We even had trouble measuring the right amount for a goat! I would just wait 'til early tomorrow to get the safegaurd for goats. It's liquid and come in a small bottle, oh around $12. I would suggest you call them to make sure they have it 1st though. Ours seems like it's always out of stuff we need.

I had to return the Safeguard paste today and look for the liquid- Large Marge was out and eating a little better today, but her comb and wattles still look a little pale (not quite as bad as yesterday afternoon). I gave her electrolytes and vitamins in her water; I'll keep an eye on her and update again later.
*Out of 4 hens there were 3 eggs in the nest box today, none large enough to be hers though. If she lays again I'll take that as a sign she's feeling a little better. It's good that she came out this morning for scrambled eggs and layer feed instead of sitting inside on the roost.

She must feel better- she's out running around with the other hens. I'll still monitor her, but now we got OTHER fish to fry, because they jumped Chickeepoo and attacked her even with th apron on… now her back has a bloody 1/2" crater in it. Different post now.
