Large sac on chicks head

Hi there. I’ve been tending to my flock for just over a year now. I started with 6 chicks and recently got 4 more new chicks. I noticed one of the new chicks has a large fluidly sac on its head today that flops over to one side covering her eye. She’s about 16 weeks old and I’m not sure what’s going on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Can you get a better photo of the side of the head and eye so we can see that?

Tell us what you are feeding.
Any symptoms of respiratory illness - coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, mucous, wheezing, etc.
Is the chick eating/drinking normally?

Are you keeping these new chicks separate from your existing flock? I would separate them if you haven't done so.
Any peck marks or wounds to the top of the head?

Did you know that birds have an air sac that's not attached to their lungs on their head and neck? It's called a "cervicocephalic air sac".

"The infraorbital sinus also communicates with the cervicocephalic air sac. This air sac is not a pulmonary air sac and extends along the neck and back of the skull."

Thanks for the replies! I drained the sack today and it was all blood. Skin is still really loose. I guess it may have been a puncture wound.

Will keep an eye on it over he next few days to see if it fills up again.
