Got half the mini barn stained, finally. So we can start the pen building soon.

Silver is so proud of her babies. I'll keep her penned about a week ideally and then move her to a different pen until the babies are weaned. Ideally she'd go in with her group when I round them up, but I'm nervous that wouldn't bode well for the ducklings

Well, within 5 minutes of posting on Facebook, I found someone wanting all 5 of the girls I had for sale. Now I just have a ton of males

I think I'll have my first homemade ducklings hatch in a few days....

Found where Pebble is going every night. Think she's gearing up to start nesting. She's got a nest of eggs and fluff she's currently sleeping next to in a currently empty coop (no development yet though, so I think she's still building a clutch). Definitely not as secure as the mini barn, but I'm very comfortable with her going there for the time being

Part blue Swedish, but that's a lot of white too. Thinking it's either from one of my white scovie hens or my Pekin hen and that the selwedish male is the daddy
