last duckling left alive ! need help whether to assist hatching or not! please help

Well no one said it was his brains. It's possibly the fatty tissue that surrounds the brain which is what the crested is made up of from what Those links that kathy sent is all about. . If he getting stronger I'm still wondering if it's just some left over gooy stuff that was inside the shell. But then again if it's fatty tissue I guess the question would be will he have a crested head? From what I have read there survival rate isn't very strong. But it's good to know he's still kicking in there. Keep us updated.

Great to hear he/she is improving. I would've freaked out a little when I saw the sack thingy (technical I know lol) so your doing an awesome job.
 
Still going ! Haha he is a little trooper. He can eat and drink now without me having to put his beak in. And he needs less support. I still can't leave the water in the for fear of him rolling in and not getting out. But he is pretty strong considering he must use like 5 times more energy then the other one with all his rocking and rolling.
