Just installed a video monitor in the coop. Wow! What a life of a chicken. Wrestling for roost space, listening to endless rain drops on the steel roof, a down pour at least! They will definitely be cranky tomorrow. Sleepless in coopville!

That is neat, I have been thinking about putting one in my coop, found this wireless one at Fry's it says it is good for 300 feet. I know it has be fun to see what goes on in there.

I just had a looked at your coop, that is a great set up I really liked the run. Did you use pine poles for your run frame. We have 10 acres of oak and cedar I was thinking of using cedar pole to frame my run. My run is 60'x14'

I have many red cedars on my 6 acres. I cut them down and remove the thousand or so branches from each one! They are rot resistant, straight as an arrow, fragrent and strong. The ones I used for the aviary were earmarked for the tee pee I wanted to build. BUT WHO KNEW I'D HAVE CHICKENS BACK THEN?
