Late Winter Quilt Block Swap -----> March 1 due date

Yes quilting is such torcher and I know all too well about well water, right now we are really watching as we have flooding in my area.

Katsdar what state are u in? We're under a flood watch with more rain predicted for tomorrow. Then cold again. Supposed to be coldest of the year for us this round- great quilting weather! More cutting and cutting and cutting to do....

Since I can't edit my first post anymore, Here is the list of QUILT BLOCK MAKERS (so far, I will close it officially when we get to 25, or the end of February)

so, either we hope for 10 more, or I just be sure we all have 25 blocks, and some will have 2 but not 3 of the same blocks. If we use some differnt color combos anyway (and some of us do) I'll try to be sure nobody has identicals if possible - but it won't always be possible.

Sounds like a winner to me. Some of mine will be different fabrics but same pattern with some pieces the same. Like the pic earlier but set as square in square.

Cknldy North Georgia and we are flooding, our place is up on a little hill so it takes a lot of rain to flood us, but neighbors have gone to a hotel and I'm keeping an eye on their place. I went to see how far up the back deck the water was on their property and walking down the steps, (short cut to go around) I slipped and the step caught me right in the right kidney area and on my back side, yeah it has my attention,I'm already starting to look like a rainbow but the water is keeping at bay for now,well it is only up to their 3 rd step,as of this evening we live really close to a creek, well it was a stream really, but now it's a raging river. You stay dry and warm, and I'll stay off the neighbors back steps.

Is she sweet? I noted she was involved but not offically signed up, which is why I had all the question marks - I didn't want her to feel discluded if she was involved more than helping with mnferrelkitties blocks.

There are 14 of us.

Got #5 done today. Talk about spring colors, it looks like an easter egg.

I'll try and take a picture of a block tomorrow if I have time. I can pick up my car from the body shop and have to turn in the rental. It's DH day off so we run all over the place. His Dr. visit was cancelled until Thursday so that will be another runnung around day. So far I'm using the same pattern but each block is a different color or a different arrangement of the same colors. I'm trying to use up some odds and ends.
