Late Winter Quilt Block Swap -----> March 1 due date

What do you think for this swap? The flower petals are 3D. Or do you guys want something with out the flower?

Glad I started this one now. I havn't picked my blocks for it yet, I'm just finishing up from a different swap. Then, I have another swap, then this one.

I do think I will go "traditional" on the next swap. I will require 100% cotten, and ask for old fashioned blocks. Of course, than can even include 9-patch.

I love that block....so pretty and bright.

On the other note for the next swap...I like the old fashioned patterns and they're usually simple and easy. I always use 100% cotton when making my quilts but that's my preference. If you don't know if a piece of fabric is 100% cotton or not....try the burn method. ONLY IN A SAFE PLACE PLEASE. Put a lit match to the fabric on the end and if the end shrivels like it's melting then it's not 100% cotton. Cotton will burn but it won't have the melting effect.
