Lavender Araucana sex pullet or rooster

Hi,

I have a 4 week old lavender Araucana and I am hoping you will be able to advise whether you think pullet or roo? At first she seemed quiet dominant but now is rather submissive to the others.

4 weeks is too young to sex. Try posting at 6-8 weeks.

If I was to guess Id say boy by how big the comb is at 4 weeks. If you have others that same breed and age Id compare comb sizes. You'll know forsure in another month

Thank you Chickenleg, I only have chicks of other breeds, silkies, Pekin and orpington so having to rely on online pictures. I’ll post again in a few weeks and see what you think then

I'm going to say cockerel. That's a large pea comb for four weeks. It will probably turn pink soon
