Lavender Orpington help

Here's a couple more pics! Ignore the mud puddle in the background. We had a giant monsoon storm roll through on Monday and things are still drying out. It was crazy! 😵‍💫

Hello! A year or so ago I raised 4 Lavender Orphingtons. They are very hard to sex with the frazzel tail feathers. And the combs aren`t much help either! I really didn`t know for sure until three of the four started crowing and displaying cockerel behavior. Sadly, I lost the only hen to a badly impacted crop... 😥 She was such a sweet bird! 🙂

So one of my lavender orpington hens has similar sized comb at six months old, but it took time to get that size. All three of our lavender orpington hens have different sized combs.

I'm going to guess cockerel, but only because of the curved feathers at the rear.
