Want to work on my daughter's speech therapy, my 3 yr old was saying shocked today, and it sure sounded like she said she was shot today! Apparently, her speech teacher is spending more time playing the princess board game then working on the word sounds. She has umm what's the words.. grutteral stop? She knows the words, but the sounds, g d c s and t don't always come out right, gate is dake, etc...

That's not uncommon. I think it's glottal stop, but again, I'm really rusty! Are you sure they aren't playing while working on the sounds? I remember playing a lot of Candy Land as a motivator. Ugh!
lol yup, that's what its called. the sounds to the back of the throat are made at the front. C as in cup is T as in tup. I say it's cause mom's a southerner and dad's a yankee. It'll mess up any kid. lol
They spend a lot of time with games, but hey, if it works, it works.
I know I sure don't spend enough time playing with them, I'm a mean mom, HOMEWORK NOW! Chores NOW! lol
This morning I learned that even though I haven't spoken it in over five years, haven't written it in over twenty-five years, I still remember how to do both pretty well in spanish.
Today I learned that if I'm two minutes late getting out of the house, I get stuck behind a dang schoolbus going 22.5 miles an hour on a no-passing road.
