Or they just had excess... I send many off to auction when I am overloaded... you've got to hatch lots when you just want to keep/breed the best ones...

I had a blue bibbed hatch a clutch the other night during a double storm set that was awful... thought you might like to see... 1 blue bibbed like mama, and 4 pastels...

Awhhhh ! They are great! I luv me some duck pics. Yes I am sure I will be in that boat with excess ducks very soon. Not that I am judging people sending them to auction at all in any way I just know people don't always tell the truth. I've heard of people getting sold hens and finding out they were drakes and the people had cut the drake feather off so they could sell them as hens!

Them ducks sure like to hatch in the middle of a storm! Maybe the thunder rattles them out of their shell!

True, there are many out there who are untruthful and untrustworthy... but anyone who knows ducks just has to listen to their voices, and knows that drake feathers are not always reliable... drakes lose their drake feathers during eclipse too...
