I would put one duck in with him... does he have a favorite?

They get super crabby being isolated, even though it's for their own good, lol...
 
Update on Mr. Hop-a-long. I took him out of quarantine and into one of the stalls in my new duck pen. He has a 3x6 area he is sharing with 2 girls and my old timer drake. I figured between an old guy and one with a bum leg they could maybe cover two hens together and I have been watching for fighting closely. It has worked wonders for my injured drakes leg. He has access to swimming water 24/7 and is up moving around more which seems to have worked a lot of the soreness out. He is standing on it normally now and only slightly favoring it when he walks. I think he will be back in the show pens this fall. From left, hen, old drake, the problem guy, and a pullet. All getting along wonderfully
