Are leg tethers safe for poultry birds? I know that they are not safe for parrots, but can poultry birds were a leg tether for training purposes?

What sort of training? Are leg tethers safe for poultry birds? I know that they are not safe for parrots, but can poultry birds were a leg tether for training purposes?
For example training the bird to stay perched on your arm. What sort of training?
People usually tether roosters to keep them from reaching each other and fighting. For example training the bird to stay perched on your arm.
You don't need a tether for thatFor example training the bird to stay perched on your arm
They'd just be fighting against it of they were panicking. But are tethers safe for poultry birds? If I want to bring a pheasant outdoors I don’t want the bird to fly away. Would a leg tether be sufficient or would it dislocate their leg?

I now agree thanks! This isn't a good idea. They'd be fighting to get free, potentially dislocating the leg in the process. Plus, there's really no reason to bring them outside of their pen
