I love my white leghorn, Tillie! She's so full of funny personality.

So adorable! What does she do that Dempster her personality? Can you share a story?
She did try to climb onto the roof once
There was a ladder because we had been cleaning out the gutters, and I wasn't really paying attention to them. I caught her on the fourth rung, very determinedly hopping up to the roof.

She also enjoys 'helping' us dig
We'll be digging for some reason or another and she's immediately like "I"M HELPINGGGG" and runs over, proceeding to do one of these things:
-standing in the hole
-kicking dirt back in the hole
-knocking dirt off the shovel

My Daisy, the greatest hen ever, loved to jump on holes as well. She was a great help while I was working in the yard.

I have a great picture I will try to find.

For a couple of years I was looking for a breeder for Brown Leghorns. I bought some hatchery chicks that I was told were brown Leghorns. They turned out to be Partridge Rocks. As chicks they so look very similar. I did eventually sell them after they started to lay because I wasn't interested in any other breed but the Brown Leghorns. I eventually found a breeder and got some chicks from him. I love them. Here are some pictures of them with some Rose Comb Rhode Island Red chicks.

Wow, they are a dark brown, I bet in the sun light the feathers shimmer

So, here I sit at the computer, when NO JOKE, to the far left (east) from the top of the ridge through the pine trees at a fast pace, gliding like a stealth fighter, angling a slight roll to the right so I could see the whole under belly, he was heading between the trees toward the Plumbing truck........ A HUGE Eagle
