he Leghorn (US: /ˈlɛɡhɔːrn/, UK: /lɛˈɡɔːrn/; Italian: Livorno or Livornese) is a breed of chicken originating in Tuscany, in central Italy. Birds were first exported to North America in 1828 from the Tuscan port city of Livorno,[6] on the western coast of Italy. They were initially called "Italians", but by 1865 the breed was known as "Leghorn", the traditional anglicisation of "Livorno". The breed was introduced to Britain from the United States in 1870.

OOoooh!! Exciting! I prefer the single comb ones, but the rose combs are gorgeous as well. Light or dark brown?

Could be, It is hard for me to tell. this was the only pic they had. Your browns are nice looking.
You must be thinking of someone else- I don't have any browns, I just did a quick google search for 'light brown leghorn rooster' then 'dark brown leghorn rooster' and picked the one (light brown) that looked to match the pic.

So, here I sit at the computer, when NO JOKE, to the far left (east) from the top of the ridge through the pine trees at a fast pace, gliding like a stealth fighter, angling a slight roll to the right so I could see the whole under belly, he was heading between the trees toward the Plumbing truck........ That must be amazing to see. I love your view and I always smile when I see that group out on the roost in the run. All lined up like little angels. 😇
