Leghorn or California white?? Hen or rooster?

Three pullets may not be enough for one hormonal cockeral if you can I would add more ladies so there's a 6/1 or 7/1 ratio.

Of course the one you choose to keep is totally up to you but the buff Orpingtons are generally great roosters when mature.

Edited to add that more pullets/hens that 6-7 would be more preferable but I trying to stay closer to the numbers you had talked about.

Yes... I would keep the Orp over the Leghorn as well. And agree that that your friendly girl also looks like a buff Orp.

I always let my boys mature a little in a separate pen so the gals can get a break. Cockerels can be very randy.... even with plenty of hens. Lots of people do keep only trios or a smaller amount of hens, even without bare backs and over mating. Each situation and bird is unique. So work with what ya got and switch it up if you need to. Know it can happen and you might need a plan and be aware of your flock condition and dynamics. :)

So here is my California white. She has been making some real loud noises. Hoping she is a hen, please someone help???? Roo or hen??
