Leghorn Thread

Thats what made me mad because I paid for and got all "pullets" out of the pullet bin. We do have a friend of ours who has a lot of chickens and she is going to swap me out for a few of hers. I just got attached to them from the get go.

I have a few birds that are pets and most are business. I love all of my birds. I breed potential show quality birds and always have many extra males so I have found outlets for the males. I keep the best for my breeding stock. There is no way to tell for sure unless you are a pro at vent sexing which can only be done on day 1.

Ugh I was afraid of that!!!

Sorry to say yes it definitely looks to be male.
We have a single light brown Leghorn pullet I just love. She's so friendly and bold, and sweet :) I wish we had the room to have ordered more than one but we also wanted a variety of different color egg layers so she's our only Leghorn.
