My Coop
My Coop
Hey there! Finally decided to start a thread about my two little sweethearts!

My twin, @Starburst, has chickens as well. They share a coop, but this *should* mostly be about mine. Not hers. (Sorry star!)

Though feel free to share about you, if you want!

There are also three other chickens that are shared between me and Star. I will try and refer to them as “ours” but might say “mine” on occasion.

This will be basically about anything of the flock, their coop, run, chicken adventures, funny/cute/annoying things they might do, and anything in between!

Edited to add
If you’ve read this thread, you also know that three silkie chicks were added to the flock.
If you want to see a lot of pictures of the silkies, you can read more about them on the Week by week silkie thread.

This is Cupcake. She is a Buff Brahma, and currently 9 weeks old. Hopefully a girl... now I’ll post a lot of pictures! The pictures are from day old to 8 weeks.

And this is sweet little Safaia. Safaia means Sapphire in Japanese. She is a (surprise!) Sapphire Gem, and very sweet. Pictures show from day old to 8 weeks, again.

More about the rest of the flock.

These are @Starburst’s chickens. You can read more about her flocks adventures on this thread:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...ventures-with-chickens.1417628/#post-23284904

She has 8 total.
A Black Australorp named Jasmine (2yrs)
A Buff Orpington named Emily (2yrs)
An Easter Egger named Yukie (2yr)
A Silkie bantam named Mochi (1yr)

A Cuckoo Maran named Kiki (1yr)
And her latest additions,
