I might have some eggs in a month or so. I've only kept 6 hens for breeding, 2 lemon blue and 4 brown red. I won't have a large amount of eggs for sale, but the quality should result in nicer chicks.

When I have eggs they will be in the BYC sell section. I don't think I will have enough eggs for everyone that's ask so this will give every a chance to get get some.

Besides the mottling I think they are just about brown red. You can see a little lacing where there isn't mottling but I think the mottling adds charactor.

Are brown reds rare in the large fowl? I know nothing about them. I really like them and have thought about getting some.

I'm pretty sure they are rare. I've had quite afew peop,e tell me they can't find them anywhere. I think Lynne would be better to answer that question though.
