The frizzle hen was from a frizzle roo over smooth hens, at least that is what I was told - she actually was quite respectable looking until the first time she went broody - here is a pullet pic of her

She looks really good. I've never seen or herd of a brown red frizzle.

Lynne is wwmicasa1. She is the person who pretty much has LF lemon blue for many of us here. If you want in on this project I don't think many of us have anything but cockerels available. I know Lynne had a poor hatch on pullets as did I but I have some cockerels if you interested. You would then need to find a blue hen.

Who is Lynne and how do I get in on this. I am in love with these babies!!!!!

Thanks for all the compliments on my birds. Mike & I have both been working on this color. My girls are molting now but should start to lay in late Dec. I will set all the eggs laid until about mid-Feb. Then I will have eggs available for sale. Started birds will be available to ship in May. Does anyone have any bantam LB cochin eggs available? I have a nice little breeding group and a great roo from Sierra View but I would like to expand on this group and start trying for lighter blues. If someone can point me in the right direction, thanks!

Maybe try Sweat or some more from Sierra View. I haven't herd from either of them in a while though.:/
