We need pics of these babies. Since they mature so slowly, the change can be dramatic from first hatched to adult. Don't give up hope if you don't see color immediately.

Tacey has a pullet that is going to be a beauty. We need pics of your babies, too!!!!

Ok here are my babies at 6 weeks old!

I will put their one week pic and then their 6 week pics so everyone can see how much they have changed!

Its amazing how much color some are getting! I am happy I only got 2 Boys as well.

Lynn, when would be the best time to choose which to keep? I can't have both since I am in City limits, but I am scared I might give up the better Roo....

Lanissa,

They are all beautiful!!

They change so dramatically as they mature that I wouldn't select which roo to keep right now. However, I think #1 is going to color up beautifully. He may be your guy. Lemon Boy was yellow/buff as a baby.

You are so lucky your splash are pullets. I got 2 stunning splash boys .....wish they were girls!!!

Don't you just love their foot feathering??!! Awesome even as chicks. Thanks so much for sharing pics.

It's amazing how they change in such a short time.

Lynne, I wasn't gonna do it, but darnit, I'm going to have to get some of these eggs in the fall.

Paula,

You have the same sickness I have
he.gif
Is it really a bad thing?

I'll email you when I have some available...is it hot yet where you are? Not so bad here. Almost scary in its coolness. Would you be ready the end of the month???

Hey, Lynne. Yeah, it's definitely a sickness. And very contagious, I'm afraid. Yes, it's very hot here. 96 today, they say. It's scorching. I think I should wait till Fall, as badly as I'd love to get them now. They're just gorgeous! I just think it's too hot here now, and only going to get worse. I'm just trying to keep my birds cool right now, which is not an easy task. But, if we get a cool down, I'll check with you.

Thank you!!

Paula

Normally we are having those temps, too. But this June has been cold. Still wearing a sweatshirt in the morning to feed. I bet we are in for a horrible July! No A/C at our house
