Update: The pip hole (no idea if that's what it's called) is a little larger, and I heard some chirping from within. No other chicks have pipped yet-I'll just have to be patient. (So, SO hard for me!)

This morning, chick #2 hatched! We named her Hope.

Also, so far no other pips. I'm guessing we should leave them, as they might be staggered, but for how long should we leave them?

Unfortunately Hope was found in the run this morning. She was not alive. Rest in peace.
